My name is Courtney Nicole, and I am a 25 year old stage 3 breast cancer survivor. I worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician for 5-6 years until my life was turned upside down. I never thought of art as a career until I realized how short life really is. I decided to chase my dream of doing something I absolutely love instead of killing myself with a job I just liked. Of course I love being involved in surgery on animals, but due to cancer repercussions, my body couldn’t tolerate the physical stress of it. It was not an easy choice, but an opportunity that needed to be taken.
